Fiscal Note

The Transit Utility 2006 Adopted Operating budget includes $86,720 for the salary of the Transit General Manager.  No additional appropriation is required for the contract extension.  There is no net effect on the levy.

Body

Whereas, the existing employment agreement with Transit General Manager Catherine Debo expired April 2, 2006, and can only be extended 90 days by the Mayor, until September 30, 2006; and

Whereas, it is in the City of Madison's interest that her employment agreement be extended until the requested date;

Now Therefore Be It Resolved that the employment agreement between the City of Madison and Transit General Manager Catherine Debo be amended to extend the expiration date to September 30, 2006.
