Body
WHEREAS HIV infection remains a significant public health risk, with a disproportionate burden or risk and disease in certain subpopulations.
WHEREAS the City of Madison Department of Public Health has received a grant of $18,821 from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services, Division of Public Health to support the Department's HIV prevention activities.
WHEREAS the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County has authorized the City of Madison Department of Public Health to enter into an agreement with the State of Wisconsin, represented by the Division of Public Health of the Department of Health and Family Services accepting their grant for $18,821 for HIV Prevention Services between January 1 to December 31, 2006.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 2006 Public Health Operating Budget is amended by the following amounts:
