WHEREAS the 2005 Capital Budget includes $200,000 in funding for architectural and engineering consultant design services, an Architect consultant must be hired to design this project; and,
 
WHEREAS the total contract compensation for architectural and engineering services for Engberg Anderson Design Partnership, Inc. is $186,000, and,
 
WHEREAS Engberg Anderson Design Partnership, Inc., located at 1 North Pinckney Street, Madison, Wisconsin, has been selected through the "Request for Qualifications" process and the "Final Interview" process, and is the final selected candidate in accordance with Section 3.61 of the Madison General Ordinance, and,
 
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council hereby authorizes Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an agreement with Engberg Anderson Design Partnership, Inc. to provide professional architectural and engineering services for the interior improvements at Sequoya Branch Library located on Midvale Blvd.
