Fiscal Note
The proposed changes to the current metered parking program will have potential fiscal implications relative to Parking Utility revenues, City General Fund revenues and, possibly, enforcement resources. The Parking Utility estimates that the impact on metered revenues will result in additional annual proceeds credited to the Parking Utility of an estimated $342,000. Effective with the 2006 budget, the Parking Utility will pay to the City 10% of gross revenues for on-street metered parking stalls. Therefore, under provisions of this Ordinance, the City General Fund will realize an additional estimated $30,000 annually.
