Amending Section 3.38(1)(i)2. of the Madison General Ordinances by creating the classification of City Clerk/Treasurer in Compensation Group 21, Range 16, thereof.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This is one of  5 ordinances (ID #s 02702, 02703, 02704, 02705 and 02636) to reorganize the existing Department of Revenue into the separate positions of Clerk/Treasurer and Assessor and deleting the existing Department of Revenue.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

Paragraph 2. of Subdivision (i) entitled "Appendix. (Schedule of Salary Ranges for Noncivil Service Employees)" of Subsection (1) entitled "Basic Salary Schedules By Compensation Groups" of Section 3.38 entitled "Compensation Plan" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by creating the class of City Clerk/Treasurer in Compensation Group 21, Range 16, thereof.
