Fiscal Note
Last year, Metro entered into a pilot project with St. Marys for an Unlimited Ride Pass Agreement. This is an extension of that agreement. It provides for St. Marys to reimburse Metro for an estimated 25,454 passenger trips during the contract period, with provision for St. Marys to reimburse any additional rides in the last quarterly payment at the rate of $.88 per fixed route trip (the currrent rate as established by TPC). The total amount billable by Metro for all fixed route and paratransit fares provided under this agreement shall not exceed $30,000. There would be no net fiscal impact on the City General Fund or the transit utility operating budget.

Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an agreement with St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center for the continuation of provision of free access by its employees to Metro Transit fixed route and ADA paratransit services, with reimbursement to the transit utility for employee trips for the period February 1, 2006 through January 31, 2007.

WHEREAS, St. Marys Hospital Medical Center and Metro Transit wish to continue an Unlimited Ride Pass Program for St. Marys based on principles approved by the Madison Transit and Parking Commission for such agreements;
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to enter into an agreement with St. Marys Hospital Medical Center for the purpose of providing a St. Marys Unlimited Ride Pass Program for the period of February 1, 2006 through January 31, 2007, with a total contract amount not to exceed $30,000.00.
