Fiscal Note

A segregated Sesquicentennial Fund has been established to administer funding associated with this event. The 2004 and 2005 General Fund Operating Budgets contain an appropriation of $5000.00 each, subject to a private matching fund. The 2004 appropriation has been matched by MG&E.

Body

WHEREAS the Madison Common Council approved Resolution Number 61522, I.D. Number 35943 creating an Ad Hoc Sesquicentennial Commission to plan for the commemoration of Madison's 150^th anniversary; and

WHEREAS the above mentioned resolution also states that the Commission shall develop a budget for approval by the Common Council; and

WHEREAS a budget and plan accompany this resolution; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Madison Common Council approves the attached plan and budget for Madison Sesquicentennial events.
