Amending Section 1.08(3)(a) of the Madison General Ordinances to add various violations of landlord and tenant regulations to the bail deposit schedules.
Body
The Common Council of the City of Madison does hereby ordain as follows:

Subdivision (a) of Subsection (3) entitled "Schedule of Deposits" of Section 1.08 entitled "Issuance of Citations for Violations of Certain Ordinances and Providing a Schedule of Cash Deposits" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by adding therein the following:

"Offense Ord. No. Deposit
Eviction or retaliation for properly 32.04(8)(a) $100, 1st;
abating rent. $150, 2nd

Eviction or retaliation for complaining 32.04(8)(b) $100, 1st;
of violation of chapters 18,19, 27, 27, $150, 2nd
28, 29 or 30.

"Offense Ord. No. Deposit
Entering to show apartment with 24 32.05(1)(e) $100, 1st;
hour notice but notice is more than a $150, 2nd
3 day period and 3 hours at a time.

Landlord entry with announcing presence 32.05(1)(f) $100, 1st;
and identifying him/herself upon request. $150, 2nd

Failure to provide receipt upon accepting 32.06(2)(a) $100, 1st;
earnest money or security deposit. $150, 2nd

Failure to provide receipt for rent paid in 32.06(2)(b) $100, 1st;

Failure to use written check-in or 32.07(5) $100, 1st;
