I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments. Committee applications for mayoral appointments are attached. Statement of Interest forms are on file for these appointments where applicable.


ALCOHOL LICENSE REVIEW COMMITTEE

SAMUEL STEVENSON, 406 E. Washington Ave. #4, 53703 (2nd A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Mr. Stevenson is working on his Master's in Public Health. He succeeds Mark D. Woulf.

EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION COMMITTEE

MURIEL SIMMS, 5106 Comanche Way, 53704 (18th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Citizen Member. Ms. Simms is retired from the Madison Metropolitan School District. She serves on the board of several organizations. Ms. Simms succeeds Joanne E. Brown.

PUBLIC SAFETY REVIEW COMMITTEE

ERNEST HORINEK, 1414 Stemp Terr., 53711 (20th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Mr. Horinek is retired from the Department of Transportation. He owns rental property and has worked closely with the police on safety issues for tenants and landlords. Mr. Horinek succeeds Tyrone W. Bell.

SENIOR CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE

THOMAS FRAZIER, 59 Hawks Landing Cir. #312, 53593 (1st A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Mr. Frazier is the former director of the Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups. He succeeds Charles A. Bunge.
