I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments.  committee applications for mayoral appointments are attached.  Statement of Interest forms are on file for these appointees.
 
 
HOUSING COMMITTEE
 
JASON L. STRINGER, 1341 Jenifer St., 53703 (6th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident.  Mr. Stringer is currently employed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.  He is the co-founder and treasurer of Madison Relief Organization, Inc.  Mr. Stringer succeeds Gregg T. Shimanski who resigned.
TERM EXPIRES: 4-30-2013
 
MICHAEL A. STLUKA, 107 N. Randall Ave. #3, 53715 (8th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident.   Mr. Stluka is a student at Edgewood college majoring in Economics. He is very interested in affordable housing for low-income students and started a student movement concerning a housing development on West Mifflin Street.  Mr. Stluka succeeds LeeAnne Banks who resigned.

MADISON ELECTION ADVISORY COMMITTEE
 
MARK BORNS, 4818 Fond du Lac Trail, 53705 (11th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Citizen Member.  Mr. Borns is an attorney with his own firm.  He has served as a poll worker, is involved with the Community Action Coalition and has served on the boards of several non-profits.  Mr. Borns succeeds Marlena G. Deutsch who resigned.
