I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments. Committee applications for mayoral appointments are attached. Statement of Interest forms are on file for these appointees where applicable.
COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMITTEE
MARY VASQUEZ, 3848 Maple Grove Dr., 53719 (7th A.D.) - appoint to a three-year term to the position of Community (Minority) Representative. Ms. Vasquez is a Bilingual/Bicultural Social Worker employed by the UW Medical Foundation Wingra Family Medical Center. She serves on the Professional Consultative Committee to the UW-Madison School of Social Work, is active with the Latinos Support Network and the Latino Health Council and is on the board of directors of the AIDS Network. Ms. Vasquez succeeds Nancy Rodriguez.

JOINT SOUTHEAST CAMPUS AREA COMMITTEE
SANDRA TORKILDSON, 1214 Elizabeth St., 53703 (2nd A.D.) - appoint to the position of State Street Organization Representative. Ms. Torkildson is the owner of A Room of One's Own bookstore. She is a former member of this committee, having previously served from January, 2003 to April, 2010.
