Body
Per Amendments to Resolution, File ID 19058, as recommended by the Board of Estimates, the Overture Ad Hoc Committee has been created to review and analyze the future business plan of Overture to determine its financial feasibility.
 
I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following appointments to this committee for introduction and adoption under suspension of the rules.

ALD. TIM BRUER - District 14
 
ALD. LAUREN CNARE - District 3
 
ALD. MIKE VERVEER - District 4
 
MARK D. BUGHER, 7517 Widgeon Way, 53717 (9th A.D.) - Mr. Bugher is the Director of Madison's University Research Park.  He will serve as the Chair of this committee.
 
JAMES GARNER, 26 Golf Pkwy., 53704 (18th A.D.) - Mr. Garner is currently the CEO of Sergenian's Floor Coverings and has been with Sergenian's for 47 years.  Mr. Garner serves on the boards of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce and the South Metropolitan Planning Council.
 
DEIRDRE GARTON, 350 S. Hamilton St. # 306, 53703 (4th A.D.) - Ms. Garton is the owner of Garton Consultants.  She serves on the Madison Cultural Arts District Board and the 201 State Foundation Board.  In addition, she is the Chair of the Governor's Juvenile Justice Commission.
 
WARREN ONKEN, 9 Coach House Dr., 53714 (3rd A.D.) - Mr. Onken served as an alder for 28 years.  He is a member of Overture's Budget and Audit Committee and is a former member of the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center Board.  
 
PAUL SOGLIN, 121 Standish Ct., 53705 (11th A.D.)  - Mr. Soglin is a former Mayor of Madison, WI.
