I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments.  "Statement of Interests" form are on file for those appointees required to file.
 
MADISON CITY CHANNEL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
 
BARRY ORTON, 4718 Lafayette Drive, 53705 (11th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Citizen.  Mr. Orton has 30 years experience as UW-Madison's expert on cable oversight and utilization. Active in opposition to Cable Competition Act that cut off funding for City Channel and other access channels.

MARY CARDONA, 4209 Bagley Parkway, 53705 (11th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Citizen.  Ms. Cardona has nearly 30 years experience in Community Television field, serving from Producer, Board Member to consultant and currently as Executive Director of the Wisconsin Association of PEG Channels (WAPC). One of her priorities is to learn about and share new and innovative ways to increase revenue. Currently a member of the Public Policy Working Group for the Alliance for Community Media.

JUDY K. OLSON, 518 Clemons Avenue, 53704 (6th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Citizen.   Ms. Olson is a former Alder.

GARY PETERSON, 210 Marinette Trail, 53705 (11th A.D.) - appoint to the  remainder of term for the position of Builder/HSG Provider/Devel/Bus.  Mr. Peterson is a Planner and currently serves on the DMI Economic Development Committee.  
He succeeds Susan Schmitz.
