I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following citizen committee appointments. "Statement of Interests" forms are on file in the City Clerk's Office.
CENTRAL PARK DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION TASK FORCE
M. NAN CHENEY, 404 S. Blount St. #203, 53703 (6th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Neighborhood Resident. Ms. Cheney has had a long interest in the park and lives in the district. She is a former member of the Park Commission and the Plan Commission. She succeeds Benjamin Sommers who resigned.
DOWNTOWN COORDINATING COMMITTEE
MELISSA BERGER, 123 W. Washington Ave. #406, 53703 (4th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Permanent Downtown Area Resident. Ms. Berger is a realtor for Bunbury & Associates. She is a leader with Capitol Neighborhoods and involved with DMI, heading up the Capitol Neighborhood's Downtown Plan Group. She succeeds Megan Christiansen who resigned.
TERM EXPIRES: 10-19-2011.
JOINT SOUTHEAST CAMPUS AREA COMMITTEE
ALLEN A. ARNTSEN, 2817 Milwaukee St., 53704 (6th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Mayor or Designee. Mr. Arntsen succeeds Mario Mendoza who resigned.
