Seeking Common Council approval of the 2005 Madison Arts Commission Summer Concerts Performances as recommended by the Madison Arts Commission.
Body
WHEREAS, The Madison Arts Commission has the authority by ordinance to annually recommend arts grants and performances for approval by the Common Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Madison Arts Commission met on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 to recommend that the following organizations fall under the Summer Concerts item in the budget: Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra: Concerts on the Square; Madison Folk Music Society: Folk at One; Capitol City Band: Summer Concerts; North/East Side Senior Coalition: Warner Park Summer Concerts.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Madison Common Council approves the 2005 Summer Concerts recommendations of the Madison Arts Commission and authorizes the City Comptroller's Office and the Arts Administrator to execute agreements and payments on behalf of the City of Madison.
