Amending Section 16.26(1)(f) of the Madison General Ordinances related to Oscar Avenue Setbacks to remove part of a setback line. (District 12)

DRAFTER’S ANALYSIS:    This proposed ordinance amends MGO Sec. 16.26(1)(f) to remove the setback line on 2150 Commercial Avenue and on a portion of 910 Oscar Avenue where Oscar Drive was previously vacated.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

 

                     1.                     Subdivision (f) of Subsection (1) entitled “Establishment” of Section 16.26 entitled “Setback Lines Established” of the Madison General Ordinances is amended as follows:

 

“(f)                     The setback line on the east side of Packers Oscar Avenue between Commercial Avenue and the center line of Aberg Avenue the South line of Myrtle Street as dedicated in the plat of Woodland recorded on March 31st , 1927 in Volume 6 of Plats of Dane County on Page 12 as Document No. 72658 and the South Line of Discontinued Roth Street per resolution adopted by the Common Council of the City of Madison on July 27, 1971 as Resolution No. 22,334 File No. 4600-108, Recorded as Document No. 1299257 projected easterly shall be 77 feet from the center line of said Packers Oscar Avenue measured at right angles thereto.”
