Accepting a Public Sidewalk Easement from Joshua K. and Jaime R. Farkas across property located at 4510 East Buckeye Road. 16th Ald. Dist.
Body
WHEREAS, Joshua K. and Jaime R. Farkas are the owners of the property located at 4510 E. Buckeye Road, Madison, Wisconsin (the "Owners' Property"); and
WHEREAS, existing public sidewalk improvements along East Buckeye Road are partially within the public street right-of-way and partially encroaching into the Owners' Property; and
WHEREAS, the Owners have offered an easement for public sidewalk purposes to the City, at no cost, to resolve this encroachment situation; and
WHEREAS, City of Madison Engineering Division staff have reviewed and recommend the acceptance of such easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Madison is hereby authorized to accept from Joshua K. and Jaime R. Farkas, at no cost to the City of Madison, a 2-foot wide Public Sidewalk Easement across the following described lands:
The South Two (2) feet of Lot 3, Block 4, Second Addition to Buckeye Woods, recorded in Volume 56-81A of Plats on Page 235 as Document Number 2190645, Dane County Registry, being located in the Northwest ¼ of the Northwest ¼ and the Southwest ¼ of the Northwest ¼ of Section 15, Town Seven (7) North, Range Ten (10) East, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin.
