Approval of Library's Non-Competitive Selection Request for Central Paging System.
Body
WHEREAS, Integral Building Systems is City IT Department's preferred vendor for network cabling; and
WHEREAS, Madison Public Library has the need for a stand-alone paging system at Central Library, because the current paging system interferes with the fire alarm monitoring, causing frequent false alarm calls; and,
WHEREAS, Madison Public Library has approved capital funding for the work to be done, quoted at $76,688; and
WHEREAS, City IT has approved the project and the quoted work from Integral Building Systems; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Madison Public Library Board approves authorization for Madison Public Library to execute a non-competitive contract with Integral Building Systems; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that Madison Public Library as a City of Madison agency's designee is authorized to sign the 2024 Purchase of Services agreement with Integral Building Systems for Central Library paging system.
