Title
Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute a Release of a Platted Public Utility Easement pertaining to Lots 4, 5, and 6, Haen Subdivision No. 1, located at 910 West Wingra Drive.
Body
WHEREAS, the property owner, Strand Associates, Inc., recently expanded their office facility located at 910 West Wingra Drive; and
 
WHEREAS, the owner's building expansion encompassed portions of a platted public utility easement located in Lots 4, 5, and 6, Haen Subdivision No. 1 as recorded in Document No. 998984 (the "Easement"), in the Dane County Register of Deeds Office; and
 
WHEREAS, a release of said Easement, pertaining to Lots 4, 5, and 6, Haen Subdivision No. 1, is required to clear title and release the Easement area now located under the owner's building expansion; and
 
WHEREAS, said property owner has supplied the necessary administrative fee, legal description and exhibits; and
 
WHEREAS, the City Engineering Division has reviewed and approves of the release of that portion of the Easement located within Lots 4, 5, and 6, Haen Subdivision No. 1, as there are no public utility facilities located within the Easement area.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Release of a Platted Utility Easement pertaining to Lots 4, 5, and 6, Haen Subdivision No. 1, located at 910 West Wingra Drive, as described on attached Exhibit A and depicted on attached Exhibit B.
