Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes awarding the contract for the Hermina Street and Union Street Reconstruction District - 2024 at a total estimated cost of $740,664, including contingency. Awarding the contract is contingent upon adoption of Legistar #94509 which authorizes a net-neutral transfer of $130,000 in General Fund GO Borrowing from the Sidewalk Program (Munis #15795) to the Hermina Street project (Munis #13664). If Legistar #94509 is approved, the Hermina Street project will have sufficient funding to award the contract. If Legistar #94509 is not approved, the bids for the contract will be considered rejected by the City.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidder contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.

Final adoption of resolution is contingent upon the Common Council approval of a budget amendment necessary to fund this contract under File #94509. If the budget amendment item fails to be approved, the bids for this contract shall be considered rejected by the City.
