Title
Informational presentation on Parks efforts to manage toys intentionally left in parks.
Body
Certain Madison parks have historically seen large numbers of toys left intentionally in the park for other children to use and staff have seen an increase in this practice since Covid. These toys can become hazardous if left in playground use zones or pedestrian paths, but many residents appreciate the additional play options these toys provide. Parks has piloted a program to solicit volunteers to manage the toys in some parks to help mitigate the hazard.
