Fiscal Note

In the 2016 adopted capital budget the Sewer Utility has budgeted $1.12 million for replacement of problematic sewers on the major Sewer Reconstruction project (MUNIS 10267). The minor project for the South Park Street Sanitary Rehab (MUNIS 10893) has sufficient authority for the cost of the contract in the proposed resolution.  Funding for the project is from revenue bonds.

 

The proposed resolution awards the associated contract for work in the Sourth Park Street Sanitary Assessment District for a total of $538,320 to the Sewer Utility.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
