Title

Approving a contract with Stay-Lite Lighting, Inc. for re-fixturing and retrofit of Fire Buildings for energy efficient upgrades.

Body

The City requested proposals (RFP-7809-0-2006-RW)  for  energy efficient upgrading of  lighting in  Fire Buildings. Stay-Lite Lighting, Inc submitted a proposal RFP-7809-0-2006-RW  for a total cost of  $118,527.  The proposal covers installation, materials, equipment; and lamp and ballast recycling and disposal of existing fixtures.  The buildings to receive upgrades are:

Fire Administration-325 W. Johnson St.

Fire Station 1-316 W. Dayton St.

Fire Station 3- 1217 Williamson St.

Fire Station 4- 1437 Monroe St.

Fire Station 5-4418 Cottage Grove Rd.

Fire Station 7-825 W. Badger Rd.

Fire Station 8-3945 Lien Rd.

Fire Station 9-201 N Midvale Blvd.

Funding for this project is included in the Fire Department Capital budget.  The account number is  CB72-58460-810314.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor, City Clerk and other designated City officials are authorized to execute a contract with Stay-Lite Lighting, Inc for $118,727 to upgrade Fire Building for energy efficiency.
