Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute a release of part of a platted public utility easement reserved within Lots 2 and 3, constituting the JOMA Industries property, located at 1901 Wright Street. 17th Ald. Dist.
Body
WHEREAS, JOMA Industries Inc., the owner of the property located at 1901 Wright Street, has requested the release of a portion of a platted public utility easement reserved across said property; and
 
WHEREAS, City Engineering staff has reviewed and recommends the release of such easement; and
 
WHEREAS, easement releases from all public utility companies having an interest in such easement have been received and recorded.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Release of Platted Public Utility Easement for land described as follows:
 
Part of Lots 2 and 3, Certified Survey Map No. 1389, in Volume 6, page 44, ass document N0 1390227 of Certified Survey Maps as recorded at the Dane County Register of Deeds Office, said Lot 2, now known as Certified Survey Map No 3610, in volume 14, pages 360-361, as Document No. 1692643 of certified Survey Maps as recorded at the Dane County Register of Deeds office, lying in part of the East ½ of the Southeast ¼ of Section 29, T8N-R10E, city of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, said easement release being more particularly described as follows:
 
The westerly six (6) feet of said Lot 2, except the northerly one hundred (100) feet thereof, and excepting the southerly six (6) feet thereof.
 
Also, the easterly 6 feet of said Lot 3, except the northerly one hundred (100)thereof, and excepting the southerly six (6) feet thereof.
