Authorizing the Traffic Engineering Division to install pedestrian-activated school zone flashers on Fish Hatchery Road at Carver Street.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Madison is concerned about pedestrian crossings of Fish Hatchery Road at Carver Street; and

WHEREAS, school pedestrian warning flashers will provide motorists highly visible notice and warning of pedestrians entering Fish Hatchery to cross it; and

WHEREAS, this crossing also serves Wright Middle School and Bowman Field;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer is authorized to install pedestrian warning flashers at Carver Street and Fish Hatchery Road.
