Body
WHEREAS, The City of Madison has previously entered into a contract for Professional
Services with Held Engineering Associates, Inc for completion of stormwater analysis and design for Arboretum Pond 3 - Improvements Phase 2; and
 
WHEREAS, Held Engineering Associates, Inc. has completed the design study for this contract and presented the results to University of Wisconsin, UW Arboretum, and City of Madison; and
 
WHEREAS, staff review indicates that a cumulative impact of Pond 3 and Pond 4 improvements on flooding risk of the downstream Carver-Martin Nieghborhood is required; and
 
WHEREAS, Held Engineering Associates, Inc. as result of this work is most qualified to complete this work; and
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute addendum #1 to the existing agreement with Held Engineering Associates, Inc. to provide additional consulting services, as further detailed in the scope of services, for continuing work on the Arboretum Pond 3 - Improvements Phase 2.
