AFFIRMATIVE ACTION COMMISSION

NITZA A. PFAFF, 14 Black Stone Cir., 53719 (1st A.D.) - reconfirm her reappointment to a two-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Ms. Pfaff was first appointed 2-6-2007.
TERM EXPIRES: 4-21-2009.


ALCOHOL LICENSE REVIEW COMMITTEE

JOHN A. MCNAMARA, 430 Cantwell Ct. #A, 53703-3787 (6th A.D.) - reappoint to a two-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. First Appointed 6-21-2005.

BROADBAND TELECOMMUNICATIONS REGULATORY BOARD

*2/3 vote required for confirmation of non-city residents.

Pursuant to Sec. 3.27(2) of the Madison General Ordinances, " … provisions of this section shall not necessarily apply with reference to membership on special study committees where in the judgement of the mayor and two-thirds (2/3) of the Common Council, the best interests of the city will be served by the appointment of certain nonresident members who are particularly well qualified by reasons of education, background, and experience … ."

*JEFFREY J. RICHTER, 2019 Cliff Ct., 53703 (Town of Madison) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. First Appointed 3-4-2003.
TERM EXPIRES: 4-30-2010.

Rationale: Mr. Richter has been a member of the BTRB since 2003 and its chair since 2004. His expertise as a member of the State's Public Service Commission has proven invaluable to the Board which unanimously recommended his reappointment (when he was already living in the Town of Madison) in 2005.
