Approval of the Library 2021 Executive Operating Budget

The attached reports call out the changes made by the Mayor's Office during the Executive Operating Budget process, including notes indicating why the changes were made. There is a singular report with the Library budget as a total and reports for each Library service segregated from the budget in total.
Approval from the Madison Public Library Board is needed for the changes, which includes pulling $250,000 from the Library Fund Balance to assist in restoring one-time lost revenue due to COVID. The Library will be increasing the fund balance at the end of 2020 from the large salary savings which will be realized due to the extraordinary number of funded vacant positions in 2020.
