The C4 Tailgate Tour is a new park event request. The anticipated attendance is 1000 people. The request is to setup on 10/23/26 at Edward Klief Park. Setup includes fencing, activation zones and C4 bars (sampling-nonalcoholic). The event will be on Saturday, 10/24. The 10/24 game time is not announced yet, this event will run for 3 hours before kick-off. No alcohol will be served or sold at the event. No food will be served or sold at the event. There will be free sampling of C4 energy drink. The event will include a PA2 (public amplification 2) permit to include a 60-minute set from the headlining DJ. Game time is not announced yet, this event would run for 3 hours before kickoff. The event is free but you must register to get a ticket to attend. Take down / clean up will be on 10/25 & 10/26.
Based on the size and complexity of the event, Park’s staff are requesting Facilities, Programs and Fees Subcommittee approve the event permit the first year. If there are no concerns or issues after the first year and it becomes an annual event, then future years can be approved administratively and will not need committee approval.
