DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This ordinance creates the hourly classification of Engineer and deletes the hourly classification of Civil Engineer within Compensation Group 17.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:  

Subdivision (a) of Subsection (2) entitled "Hourly Rate Schedule" of Section 3.54 entitled "Compensation Plan" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by deleting the hourly classification of Civil Engineer in Compensation Group 17, and creating the hourly classification of Engineer at an hourly rate of $18.47 in Compensation Group 17, thereof.
