PREAMBLE

The City of Fitchburg and City of Madison have proposed a joint project to reconstruct Harley Drive from Raymond Road to the south end.  The existing pavement is in poor condition and in need of reconstruction.  Portions of Harley Drive are under the jurisdiction of the City of Madison and other portions City of Fitchburg.

The City of Fitchburg is the lead municipality and will coordinate the public relations, design and construction of the street with the City of Madison.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the City of Fitchburg for cost sharing for the design of reconstruction of Harley Drive.
