Body
WHEREAS, the developer, HUM-WEST WILSON Limited Partnership, has received the City of Madison's conditional approval for a Planned Unit Development (PUD) demolish 6 existing buildings and construct a mixed use building, and,

WHEREAS, Section 16.23(9) of the Madison General Ordinances and the conditions of approval require the developer to install the public improvements necessary to serve the PUD, and,

WHEREAS, City Engineering and the Developer desire to improve a portion of existing University Avenue/Campus Drive Right of Way to be shared by the existing parking lot to the west (Eve’s Triangle parking lot) and the Developer of 2508-2544 University Avenue and 516-518 Highland Avenue, and,

WHEREAS, the initial construction by the Developer is estimated at a cost of $7,500, of which the Developer shall be reimbursed for the cost of street improvements that benefit the City in accordance with Section 16.23(9)(d)(6)(d), and,

WHEREAS, RES-11-00193, ID No. 21347, adopted 2/22/2011, authorized the reimbursement of street improvements, up to the statutory limit, for the proposed public alley, per Contract For the Construction of Public Improvements That Will be Accepted by the City of Madison, Contract No. 2270, and,

WHEREAS, Secs. 10.34(1) and 10.35, Madison General Ordinances, require the City Engineer to maintain certain street numbering maps; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

1. That the plans and specifications for the public right of way improvements for the designated alley are hereby approved attached hereto and made part of this resolution.
