Board of Health-Madison & Dane County Resolution #2020-23 Authorization to Accept Funds from Dane County for COVID-19 Community Test Site

Public Health-Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) proposes accepting funding from Dane County to support the continued implementation of the COVID-19 Community Test Site at the Alliant Energy Center. Specifically, PHMDC proposes accepting $1,750,000 to support the rental of space at Alliant Energy Center, which will be used for COVID-19 testing and flu vaccination. Under the terms of the merger agreement, the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County may authorize PHMDC to accept and spend grant funds (IGA, VII, F, 1-3).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County, authorizes the Director of Public Health to accept $1,750,000.00 to support the continued implementation of the COVID-19 Community Test Site at the Alliant Energy Center
