DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: The subject property is developed with a longstanding commercial building that has been used in recent years as an office for the VFW, and is currently used as law office. This map correction will provide the property conforming zoning. No development is currently proposed.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Map Amendment 00040 of Section 28.022 of the Madison General Ordinances is hereby created to read as follows:
"28.022-00040. The following described property is hereby omitted from the DR1 (Downtown Residential 1) District and added to the UOR (Urban Office Residential) District:
Part of Lots 6, 7, and 9, Block 98, Original Plat of the City of Madison, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, more specifically described as follows: Beginning on the West Line of Hamilton Street 20.5 links East of the East corner of said Lot 6, thence North 0 Deg 45' 00" sec West along said Street a distance of 60 feet; thence South 89 Deg 09' 36" West a distance of 49.5 feet; thence South 01 Deg 30' 34" West a distance of 12 feet; thence South 89 Deg 22' 59 "West a distance of 12.5 feet; thence South 00 Deg 45' 00" a distance of 48 feet; thence North 89 Deg 12' 21" East a distance of 61.9 feet to the point of beginning. Said parcel contains 3,570 square feet (0.08 acres)."
