Funds for this project are included in the Water Utility 2008 Operating Budget.  Account No. EW01-54901-640000.

Title

Approving plans and specifications and authorizing the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for the Abandonment of Well 3 (12th AD).

Body

WHEREAS, Unit Well 3 has been shut down and the Water Board has approved the abandonment of the well; and

WHEREAS, we have prepared specifications to permanently abandon the well.

BE IT RESOLVED that the specifications for the abandonment of Well 3 be and are hereby approved, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Public Works is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
