DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: The ordinance rezones the various properties generally located along the southeasterly side of E Washington Avenue between Mendota Street and Lien Road from CC-T (Commercial Corridor-Transitional) to RMX (Regional Mixed-Use) consistent with the land use recommendations in the Greater East Towne Area Plan adopted by the Common Council on February 22, 2022 by Resolution 22-00144 (ID 68802). The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
1. Map Amendment 00623 of Section 28.022 of the Madison General Ordinances is hereby created to read as follows:
“28.022-00623. The following described property is hereby rezoned to RMX (Regional Mixed-Use) District.
Lot 1, Certified Survey Map (CSM) 272; Lot 2 and parts of Lots 1 and 3, CSM 8901; Lot 1 and part of Lot 2, CSM 8221; Lot 1, CSM 14031, and other lands located in the NE 1/4 and the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 33, and in the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 28, all in T8N, R10E, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the North 1/4 Corner of said Section 33; thence Westerly, along the North line of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4, 465 feet, more or less, to the Point of Beginning; thence S00°18'09" E, 92 feet, more or less, to a point of curve; thence Southwesterly 190.57 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 200.00 feet, a central angle of 54°35’41” and a long chor...
