available in Munis #12454. No additional appropriation is required.

PREAMBLE
The City of Madison is proposing to reconstruct S High Point Road from Midtown Meadows Plat to Raymond Rd in 2026. The project includes construction of the roadway, sidewalk/multiuse path, lighting, stormwater facilities, sanitary sewer and water main. The City desires to enter into an agreement with a consultant for design engineering services.
Pursuant to City Ordinances and Policies, the City Engineer advertised for consultant proposals, reviewed the submitted proposals, and recommends the design engineering contract be awarded to MSA Professional Services, Inc. The consultant’s services will include the completion of preliminary plans and the Environmental Assessment report and Final Plans & Specifications.
This will be a multi-year design project (2024-2025) and construction is scheduled for 2026.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc. for design engineering services for S High Point Road from Midtown Meadows Plat to Raymond Rd.
