Fiscal Note
This employment agreement establishes an annual initial year's salary of $108,412, which is the same as the incumbent's current salary and is included in the Monona Terrace Operating Budget. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor's discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Confirming the re-appointment of James A. Hess to the position of Monona Terrace Director subject to the re-appointment and execution of a five-year Employment Agreement.
Body
WHEREAS, Mayor Cieslewicz has re-appointed James Hess to the position of Monona Terrace Director and has recommended to the Common Council that his re-appointment be confirmed; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Hess, whereby Mr. Hess will start this re-appointment at his current salary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Mr. Hess's re-appointment to the position of Monona Terrace Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Hess.
