Funding for this position for the full year 2006 is included in the 2006 Department of Revenue Requested Operating Budget. Funding is also available in the 2005 Adopted Operating Budget for the 2005 component of this extension.

Amending the employment agreement with Director of Revenue Ray Fisher by extending the expiration date.
Body
Whereas, the existing employment agreement with Director of Revenue Ray Fisher expired August 5, 2005, and can only be extended 90 days by the Mayor, until November 5, 2005; and
Whereas, Mr. Fisher has requested that the expiration date of his employment agreement be extended until February 3, 2006; and it is in the City of Madison's interest that his employment agreement be extended until the requested date;
Now Therefore Be It Resolved that the employment agreement between the City of Madison and Director of Revenue Ray Fisher be amended to extend the expiration date to February 3, 2006.
