PREAMBLE
The City of Madison and Wisconsin Department of Transportation entered into agreements authorized by Resolution File ID 15983, RES-09-00854 for the construction of East Washington Avenue Segment Six (Thierer Road to East Springs Drive).
A revised agreement has been prepared to include installation of street lighting.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WDOT) has agreed to replace the pavement on East Washington Avenue from Thierer Road to East Springs Drive. The design for the project will be funded 25% City of Madison and 75% State. The roadway construction will be funded 100% by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. New sidewalk construction will be funded 20% by the City of Madison and 80% State. Sanitary sewer, water adjustments, decorative street signage and street lighting are funded 100% by the City of Madison.

Construction is scheduled for 2012.
