Title
Informational Presentation Regarding Draft Master Plan for Odana Hills Golf Course and Park (District 11).
Body
The Parks Division is working with Michael and Jocelyn Keiser and the Madison Parks Foundation to invest in the future of Odana Hills Golf Course. This project will be a partnership modeled from our prior successful partnership in creating The Glen Golf Park. Michael and Jocelyn Keiser are Madison residents and generous supporters of the park system. Michael is a world-renowned expert in golf course development and led the reinvestments at The Glen. Staff are proposing leveraging the significant private donation to wisely invest Golf and city Resources for other much needed clubhouse, park and public infrastructure improvements.
Parks Division along with other City Agencies and Golf Course and Park Design consultants have collaborated potential for interagency collaboration on stormwater and bike path connections, as well as improved clubhouse and park facilities. Staff will provide an informational presentation of the outlining public engagement conducted to-date, overview of the proposed design concepts for the golf course and park, and provide an update on the project timeline. Staff are requesting that the Board of Park Commissioners provide feedback about the design concepts.
The recorded April 30, 2026 public engagement meeting and project updates can be found on the project website: <https://www.cityofmadison.com/parks/projects/odana-hills-golf-course-and-park>
