Commending Annette Miller for her service to the City of Madison.
Body
Whereas, Annette Miller has served as Budget and Community Liaison for Mayor Dave Cieslewicz from July 2003 to August 2005;
 
Whereas, as the Mayor's Community Liaison, Annette has been instrumental in many of the recent successes in the redevelopment of the Allied Drive neighborhood, as well as the creation of the City's Department of Civil Rights;
 
Whereas, as Budget Analyst, Annette has worked tirelessly to help guide the City through difficult fiscal times;
 
Whereas, Annette also served as liaison between the Mayor's Office and the following organizations and initiatives:  Affirmative Action Department, Office of the City Assessor, Office of the City Clerk, Office of the City Treasurer, Office of Community Services, Community Development Block Grants Office, Office of the Comptroller, Early Childhood, Equal Opportunities Commission, Mayor's Community Advisory Committee, Neighborhood Associations, Neighborhood Center, Department of Revenue, Senior Centers, and the Study Circles Program, and was well liked by all;
 
Whereas, Annette is now leaving the Mayor's Office to become Community Services Manager for Madison Gas & Electric;
 
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Madison acknowledge and thank Annette Miller for her service to the City of Madison and its residents and wish her continued success in all future endeavors.
