The 2005 Public Health Operating Budget will be amended to reflect additional revenues and expenses. There is no anticipated impact upon cost controls or the tax levy.

Authorizing the Madison Department of Public Health to accept contributions up to $24,000 from Fit City partners to support the Fit City Program in 2005.
Body
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Office, the City of Madison Department of Public Health, and the Madison Community have partnered to develop a Fit City Madison Program for the residents of the City of Madison; and
WHEREAS, the Madison Department of Public Health has an LTE Fit City Madison Coordinator position funded at .25 FTE; and
WHEREAS, the Community Fit City Madison Partners have contributed funding to the City in order to fund a 1.0 FTE Fit City Madison Coordinator and to support other program expenses;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Madison Department of Public Health is authorized to accept contributions up to $24,000 and that the Health Department's 2005 operating budget be amended to recognize the additional revenues and expenses to support the Fit City Madison Program.
