The proposed resolution authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract for Purchase of Services with Sketchworks Architecture, LLC for professional architectural and engineering design services and construction administration services for the design and construction of the Far West Public Works Operations Building at an estimated cost of $1,590,783. Funding for this project is authorized in the 2025 Streets Division's Adopted Capital Budget (Munis #13016). No additional appropriation is required.

Body
WHEREAS, the Streets Division and Engineering-Facilities Management requires consulting services in order to pursue the design and construction of the Far West Operations Building; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineering-Facilities Management worked with the Purchasing Division to issue RFP 14005-0-2025-BP to solicit proposals for such services, and received 11 proposals; and
WHEREAS, an evaluation team consisting of Purchasing and relevant Department staff from Facilities Management, Streets, Fleet, Parks, and Planning conducted a detailed evaluation, scored and ranked each of the proposals using criteria including professional licensing, similar project scope experience, cost, and other professional criteria; interviewed finalists and Sketchworks Architecture, LLC was selected through this process; and
WHEREAS, to complete the consulting work, a four-year contract is required, and Sketchworks Architecture, LLC proposed a contract price not to exceed $ 1,590,783.00 to perform architectural and engineering design, construction administration and post construction warranty administration services as required by RFP 14005-0-2025-BP; and
