The proposed resolution authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract for Purchase of Services with Dimension IV - Madison, LLC for professional architectural and engineering design services and construction administration services for the design and construction of the Utility Materials Handling Site at an estimated cost of $364,500. This resolution further authorizes the contract total to be increased up to a total $370,000 to cover minor contingencies. Funding for this project is authorized in the 2026 Adopted Sewer Utility Capital Budget (Munis #13599). No additional appropriation is required.

Body
WHEREAS, the Engineering Division and Engineering-Facilities Management requires consulting services in order to complete the Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Bidding, Construction Administration, and Warranty phases of the Utility Materials Handling Site; and

WHEREAS, Dimension IV - Madison, LLC has been selected through a “Request for Proposal” process, and is the final selection candidate in accordance with MGO Section 4.26 of Madison General Ordinances and in accordance with Administrative Procedure Memorandum No. 3-3, “Retaining Architect, Professional Engineers, Designers and Land Surveyors for Consultant Service;” and,

WHEREAS, City Engineering-Facilities Management worked with the Purchasing Division to issue RFP 14073-0-2025-TJ to solicit proposals for such services, and received two proposals; and

WHEREAS, an evaluation team administered by the Purchasing Division and consisting of relevant department staff from Engineering Facilities Management, Engineering Stormwater, Engineering Operations Division, and City of Madison Water Utility conducted a de...
