Public Health Madison & Dane County (Public Health) seeks authorization to accept an additional $12,807.55 from the Board of Regents University of Wisconsin- Madison System for Ryan White Sub-Recipient Part-C Grant to support HIV outreach efforts within the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Program.
The Board of Health for Madison and Dane County previously approved Resolution City #91054/County #2025 BOH RES-021 authorizing the acceptance of $99,964.45 from Board of Regents University of Wisconsin- Madison System for Ryan White Sub-Recipient Part-C Grant. Public Health received an additional $12,807.55 from Board of Regents University of Wisconsin- Madison System, increasing the total amount to $112,772.00.
These funds support the contracted position, HIV Outreach Specialist’s salary, benefits, and supplies needed to continue reaching hard to reach populations in Dane County. The HIV Outreach Specialist conducts HIV testing at various locations around Dane County as well as education on HIV, HIV Prevention and Intervention options for people that are living with HIV.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County on behalf of Public Health Madison & Dane County authorizes the Director of Public Health, or their designee, to sign the agreement, accept and expend the funding, and amend the 2026 Public Health Budget by $12,807.55.
