Approving a Certified Survey Map of property owned by Park and Regent Development, LLC located at 904-906 Regent Street and 909-913 College Court and approving the sale of City of Madison surplus property located at College Court and N. Park Street. 8th Ald. Dist.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a Certified Survey Map of property owned by Park and Regent Development, LLC at 904-906 Regent Street and 909-913 College Court, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, which has been duly filed for approval of the Madison Common Council, be and the same is hereby approved as required by Chapter 236, Wisconsin Statutes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a portion of College Court right of way located at North Park Street containing 1,129 square feet be declared surplus to the City of Madison’s needs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City agrees to transfer the 1,129 square foot remnant to the Park and Regent Development, LLC under the following conditions:
a) The Park and Regent Development, LLC agrees to pay the City of Madison a purchase price of $13,860.
b) The Park and Regent Development LLC, agrees to provide 667 square feet of public sidewalk easement along College Court, N. Park Street and Regent Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Madison are hereby authorized to sign the certified survey, bond and subdivision contract, subsequent affidavits of corrections, parkland acquisition documents, easement or right-of-way release or procurement documents or any other related document or documents as deemed necessary by the Secretary of the Plan Commission in accordance with the approved Certified Survey Map and the disposal of the surplus property as described herein.
