The Board of Public Works and the City Engineer having made reports of all proceedings in relation to the improvement of Curb and Gutter In Conjunction with Resurfacing - 2008 Assessment District pursuant to a resolution of the Common Council, ID No. 08522, adopted 1/22/08, which resolution was adopted in accordance with Sec. 66.0701 (formerly Sec. 66.62) of the Wisconsin Statutes and Sec. 4.09 of the Madison General Ordinances and having in all things duly conformed to the order of the Common Council in relation thereto, and the provisions of the Madison General Ordinances and the Wisconsin Statutes in such case made and provided, and the Common Council being fully advised.
The City Engineer plans to award four contracts in 2008 for the Resurfacing Program. Curb and Gutter in Conjunction with Resurfacing - 2008 Assessment District, Contract 6098 is presented in this resolution.
The other three non-assessable contracts will be included in a separate resolution: Resurfacing 2008 - Asphalt Paving, Contract No. 6097; Resurfacing 2008 - Grinding and Pulverizing, Contract No. 6099; and Resurfacing 2008 - Asphalt Base Patching and Base Patch Grinding, Contract No. 6199.
BE IT RESOLVED:
