Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes Metro Transit to use a sole source contract for bus repair for fiscal years 2021 - 2025. The contract amount will not exceed $200,000 per year. Metro Transit’s 2021 adopted budget includes $100,000 for vehicle repair and maintenance, which is in line with 2019 actual costs. Any amounts from the contract in excess of $100,000 would need to be absorbed within Metro’s purchased service budget. Future operating budgets will include the costs associated with this service agreement.
