DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This ordinance amendment rezones property located at 201-205 South Stoughton Road from IL (Industrial-Limited) District to THV (Tiny House Village) District to build a future tiny house village.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

 

                     1.                     Map Amendment 00674 of Section 28.022 of the Madison General Ordinances is hereby created to read as follows:

 

“28.022-00674. The following described property is hereby rezoned to THV (Tiny House Village) District.

 

A parcel of land located in the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 4, T7N R10E, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest Corner of said SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 4; thence Easterly 403.9 feet along the North line of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 4 to the easterly right of way line of South Stoughton Road (US Highway 51); thence Southeasterly along said easterly right of way line a distance of 335.1 feet; thence N87º07’00”E 51.2 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence Southeasterly along a line parallel to and 50 feet northeasterly of and measured at right angles to the easterly right of way line a distance of 197.5 feet to a point of curve; thence on a curve to the left having a radius of 100 feet and a long chord bearing S54º13’00”E, 125.32 feet; thence N87º07’00”E 64.6 feet; thence N05º03’00”W to a point N87º07’00”E, 197.63 feet from the Point of Beginning; thence S87º07’00”W 197.63 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said described parcel contains 45,604.12 square feet (1.05 acres), more or less.”
